Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Properkey Corp. ("Properkey," "we," "us") collects, uses and discloses personal information when you use properkey.us, call or text us, or work with us on a real estate, mortgage, escrow, insurance or property management service. It includes the notice California residents are owed under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA").
Personal information we collect to provide mortgage loans is covered by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and our Financial Privacy Notice. To the extent federal law exempts that information from the CCPA, the CCPA rights below don't apply to it.
Personal information we collect
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information below. The third column lists the categories of recipients we disclosed each one to for a business purpose.

We use sensitive personal information only to provide the services you ask for, verify your identity, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements, which are the purposes the CCPA allows without a right to limit. We don't use biometric information to identify anyone.
Where it comes from
- From you, when you create an account, fill out a form or application, upload photos or documents, chat, call or text us.
- From people you work with on a transaction, such as a co-borrower, co-owner, signer or the other party's agent.
- From multiple listing services (CRMLS, MetroList and Fresno MLS), county records and property data providers.
- From publicly posted for-sale-by-owner listings on other websites.
- Automatically, through cookies, pixels and server logs when you use our website.
How we use it
- To provide the services you request: listing and selling a home, buying, mortgage lending, escrow, insurance and property management.
- To communicate with you by email, phone and text message.
- To run and improve our website, including features that use artificial intelligence to prefill listing details, describe photos and answer questions in chat and by phone.
- To keep our services secure, prevent fraud and fix errors.
- To advertise and market Properkey's own services.
- To meet our legal and licensing obligations, including record-keeping rules for real estate brokers, mortgage lenders and insurance agents.
Who we disclose it to
- Service providers that work for us under contract: cloud hosting and storage, email and text messaging, phone and voice processing, e-signature, AI processing, address verification and property data, mapping, error monitoring and analytics.
- Parties to your transaction, at your direction: lenders, escrow and title companies, insurance carriers, appraisers, inspectors and the other side's agent.
- The MLS and real estate websites, for listing information you ask us to publish.
- Companies with a Properkey name, to provide the services you request.
- Advertising partners (Google, Microsoft and Reddit), through cookies and pixels on our website.
- Government agencies, regulators and courts, when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if Properkey is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Sale and sharing
We don't sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies and pixels on our website let Google, Microsoft and Reddit use your online identifiers, approximate location and browsing activity to show you Properkey ads elsewhere. The CCPA calls this "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out. We don't sell or share the personal information of consumers we know are under 16. We don't disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep each category of personal information for seven years after our relationship with you, or the transaction it relates to, ends. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer or we need it to resolve a dispute. Server logs are kept for up to two years.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we disclosed it to, and get a copy in a portable format.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as completing your transaction, security and legal record-keeping.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights. We won't deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a different quality of service because you did.

Call us toll-free at (888) 854-8588 or email [email protected]. To opt out of sale and sharing on your browser, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
We'll confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why and may take up to 45 more days. To protect your information, we'll verify your identity by matching details you give us against information we already hold. You may use an authorized agent; we'll ask for your signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure your account, remember your preferences, measure how our website is used, and show you Properkey ads on other websites. We use Google Consent Mode, which turns off Google's analytics and advertising cookies by default for visitors in California. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the website may not work without them. We don't respond to Do Not Track signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control as described above.
Text Messaging (SMS)
Properkey Corp offers text messaging to customers and prospective customers who text our published business number or who provide a mobile number through our website. Account holders who choose to sign in by text also receive one-time sign-in codes at the number they provide.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (888) 854-8588.
Call Recording and Automated Voice Assistant
Calls to and from Properkey may be recorded, transcribed, and handled by an automated (AI) voice assistant for quality assurance, training, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
At the beginning of each call you will be notified that the call is being recorded and that you are speaking with an automated assistant. You may decline to continue, or ask to be transferred to a human representative, at any time.
Recordings and transcripts may contain personal and financial information you provide during the call. We store them securely and disclose them only to service providers who process them on our behalf under written confidentiality obligations, or where required by law, regulators, or our licensing authorities. We do not sell recordings or transcripts, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Automated Chat Assistant
Our website chat assistant ("Keyro") is an automated system, not a human representative.
Chat conversations are stored and may be reviewed by our staff and processed by third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf under written confidentiality obligations. Please do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive financial information into the chat.
Chat transcripts are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit and at rest, a separate encrypted store for Social Security, driver's license and account numbers, access controls and activity logging. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information you send us.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may email you about your account, transactions and Properkey services. To stop marketing emails, email [email protected] or write to us at the address below. We'll still send messages about your account and transactions.
Other websites
Our website links to sites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own, so read their privacy policies before you give them personal information.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year. If we make a significant change, we'll email the address on your account or post a notice on our website, and the effective date at the top will change.
